Hi I am Coach Lyndsey
I grew up in San Diego, California, and on June 4, 2004, I was widowed to the war in Iraq. In the years to follow, I would experience traumatic events, including but not limited to domestic violence, being a victim of sexual assault, and much more. These events in my life lit a fire within me to not just seek healing and success, but to assist others in finding their confidence, courage, and joy after experiencing their traumatic experiences. It became important to me to understand humans, how they respond to traumatic events, and how to make a comeback as a new and improved individual who achieves success in their life.
My background is in case management, focusing on assisting unhoused and at-risk individuals and their families to achieve stability. I have successfully assisted over 100 individuals and families in the last year in identifying their barriers, developing goals, and achieving them, drastically improving their lives while exposing their strengths, confidence, and courage.
I am a Clinical Psychology student attending a Christian University to obtain my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in counselling.
I specialize in working with military veterans and women who have experienced domestic violence.
My belief is that our perceptions, actions, and behavior stem from who we are, what we have experienced, and the growth we make after those experiences. When we get stuck in life, it is because we are in a one-track mindset, and sometimes we need an introduction to new people, with different experiences and perceptions, to open us up to see the greatness that is within us.
My Approach
It all begins with an idea, an emotion, or a situation. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Maybe you have a creative project to share with the world, or maybe you have experienced traumatic events that have you in a slump, and you just want to find your joy again. Whatever it is, your story and how you tell it make all the difference.
Dream it
Don’t worry about sounding ridiculous or being embarrassed. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest.
Build it
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve, and your goals and success can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
